Update

Hello everyone, 

Here are some reminders, plus info about junior tournaments.

1) Members from the first session should use the nightly fee section if they haven't yet paid for the second session. 

2) Tues. Feb 9th is a round robin night.  Participants must arrive and sign up with Mark by 7:15 p.m.  Participants must be at least 14 years old and must be able to stay until 9:30 if necessary.  Players can opt out and have regular play, but the experience of the past three round robin nights is that everyone turning out elected to play round robin. 

3) We've received notices about five tournaments for junior players, as listed below. Juniors are those under 19 years old. Let's encourage our juniors and their friends to participate in one or more of the tournaments, if only for the experience. 

• COBA District Junior Singles Championships - Sat Feb. 20, Whitby
• HDBC Uxbridge Doubles for students - Sat Feb. 20, Uxbridge
• COBA District Junior Doubles/Mixed Championships - Sun Feb. 21, Whitby
• HDBC Uxbridge Singles for students - Sat Mar. 12, Ajax
• HDBC Uxbridge Mixed for students - Sat Apr. 9, Ajax

Any juniors playing at our club are eligible for the COBA District tournaments because the club's a member of COBA.  The HDBC tournaments are open to any juniors that are high school or home-schooled students, and the students don't need to be playing at our club.  Tournament information will be posted at the club.
